Tim Tebow

Ephesians is a great part of a great book. God's word, the Bible. I know God will reveal his Son, Christ Jesus, to his people told of early in chapter 1. Those chosen before the foundations of the world. It is such a blessed mystery and such a blessing when God makes that revelation to our hearts and minds.

Tebow has proven to be a great college quarter-back. Many will attribute his ability, skills, good fortune, etc., to his faith in a higher power. I would agree that those things come to him because of the power and purpose of his creator but not because of anything he does to encourage or earn that favor. The verses he exhibited in his eye black at the Sugar Bowl are clear regarding who gets the Glory. "For by grace are ye saved thru faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: not of works lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." God does it all. God gets all the glory.

So, hooray for Tebow and the Gators for a great season. Hooray for God and his great provisions through his Son Jesus Christ.
